Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us with privacy questions.
Plain-English Summary
HandyMack collects only the information needed to answer questions, schedule visits, provide service, and follow up. We do not sell your personal information.
We use an AI voice assistant. Calls may be recorded after a disclosure at the start of the call. You can opt out of call recording by asking not to be recorded or by contacting us another way.

- Name.
- Phone number.
- Email address.
- Service address or project address.
- Service details, photos, scheduling preferences, and notes you choose to share.

4. AI Voice Assistant and Call Recording
HandyMack uses an AI voice assistant to answer phone calls, collect job details, help with scheduling, and route calls when needed.
Calls may be recorded. Callers are informed at the start of each call that recording may occur. If you do not want a call recorded, you can say so during the call, end the call and email us, or book online at handymacktech.com/book instead.
5. SMS Text Messaging
If you provide your phone number and separately consent to texting, HandyMack may send text messages about appointment confirmations, service reminders, job follow-up, and occasional promotions. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency varies. Standard Message and Data Rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of promotional or automated texts may not stop necessary one-to-one messages about an active service request unless required by law.
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
6. SMS Opt-In Methods
Booking a visit online: Booking at handymacktech.com/book (our scheduling page) collects your contact details for scheduling only. Booking by itself does not opt you in to SMS; consent is collected separately through the methods below.
Verbal opt-in: A customer may call (480) 885-6292, which is published on this website, and our AI assistant or Joe may ask: “Would you like to sign up for SMS notifications from HandyMack Tech & Home Services, LLC so we can send appointment confirmations, service reminders, and occasional promotions? By providing your phone number to HandyMack Tech & Home Services, LLC, you consent to receive appointment confirmations, service reminders, and occasional promotional text messages from us. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. You can text HELP for help and STOP to unsubscribe at any time. We will not share your mobile information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. You can also find our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service at handymacktech.com/privacy and handymacktech.com/terms.”
Marketing double opt-in: If a customer verbally agrees to promotional text messages, HandyMack sends a confirmation text: “HandyMack: You have agreed to receive SMS updates. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. To confirm you also want to receive marketing messages, reply YES.” If the customer replies YES, HandyMack sends: “HandyMack: Thanks, you are now subscribed to SMS notifications, including promotions from HandyMack. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.” If the customer does not reply YES, they will not be opted in to promotional messaging.
Printed or inbound-message opt-in: If a flyer, business card, printed estimate, email signature, QR code, or similar material invites a customer to text HandyMack at (480) 885-6292, the call to action must include this disclosure: “Text HandyMack at (480) 885-6292 to request service updates. By texting us, you agree to receive SMS appointment confirmations, service reminders, and occasional promotions from HandyMack Tech & Home Services, LLC. Message frequency may vary. Standard Message and Data Rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.”
7. When We Share Information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share limited information with service providers that help us run the business, such as phone, texting, scheduling, website, hosting, email, invoicing, payment, accounting, or legal providers. We may also share information if required by law, to protect safety, to collect unpaid balances, or to defend our legal rights.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your personal data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including platform providers, phone companies, and vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.
8. Cookies and Website Data
Our website uses a small number of cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, which sets first-party analytics cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site ad targeting.

9. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for service records, scheduling history, business operations, legal compliance, tax and accounting needs, insurance, dispute handling, and security. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of record.
10. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No website, phone system, email, text message, or storage system is perfectly secure. Please do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or highly sensitive information by text or email unless we give you a safer method.
11. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, request access or deletion, correct certain information, opt out of certain sharing, and not be discriminated against for using your privacy rights.
