Terms of Service
These terms explain how service visits, estimates, payments, texting, and limits of service work when you hire HandyMack.
Plain-English Summary
HandyMack Tech & Home Services, LLC is a local handyman and tech support business serving the Phoenix metro area. We handle smart home setup, in-home tech support and home network help, TV mounting, furniture assembly, minor home repairs, and similar non-permitted work.
HandyMack is not a licensed contractor. If a job needs a permit, a licensed trade, structural work, new electrical circuits, major plumbing, roofing, HVAC, or similar contractor-level work, we will tell you and may recommend a licensed specialist.
1. Who We Are
“HandyMack,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean HandyMack Tech & Home Services, LLC, an Arizona business. You can reach us at (480) 885-6292.
Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
2. Service Area
We primarily serve the Phoenix metro area, including Stetson Valley, Peoria, Glendale, Sun City, Surprise, and nearby Phoenix neighborhoods, with Scottsdale case-by-case. Work outside this area may be declined or quoted separately based on travel time and schedule fit.
3. Services We Provide
HandyMack provides residential tech support and non-licensed handyman services. Common services include:
- Smart home setup, Home Assistant help, cameras, doorbells, and connected devices.
- In-home tech support: Wi-Fi, router, mesh network, printer setup, and connected device help.
- TV mounting, home theater setup, cable management, and streaming device setup.
- Furniture assembly, picture hanging, fixture swaps, grab bars, and minor home repairs.
- Small project lists that combine tech tasks and handyman tasks in one visit.
4. Not a Licensed Contractor
HandyMack is not a licensed contractor of any kind — not a general contractor, electrician, plumber, HVAC contractor, roofer, structural contractor, or other licensed trade contractor.
We do not perform work that legally requires a licensed contractor or a permit. This includes electrical panel work, new circuits, gas lines, main-line plumbing, roofing, HVAC system work, structural changes, major drywall or texture work, and similar work. If the job crosses that line, we will stop and recommend that you use a properly licensed professional.
5. Pricing and Minimum Service Fee
Unless we quote a flat rate in writing, our hourly rate is $75 per hour. The minimum service fee for a visit is $125. The minimum covers scheduling, travel, and the first portion of on-site service time.
Materials, parts, specialty hardware, disposal fees, parking fees, unusual travel, or third-party charges are not included unless we say so in writing. If a job changes after we arrive, we may update the estimate before continuing.
6. Estimates, Scheduling, and Access
Estimates are based on the information available at the time. Photos, messages, calls, and your Calendly booking details help us plan, but some issues cannot be confirmed until we see them in person.
You agree to provide safe access to the work area, accurate information about the project, and any required device logins, passwords, parts, mounts, or hardware needed for the work. Please do not send passwords by text or email unless we specifically ask for a safe way to handle them.
7. Payments
Payment is due when the service is completed unless we agree otherwise in writing. We may pause or decline future work if a balance remains unpaid.
8. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as you can. We understand life happens. Repeated late cancellations, missed appointments, or lack of access to the work area may result in a rescheduling fee or declined future service.
9. AI Voice Assistant, Calls, and Text Messages
HandyMack uses an AI voice assistant to answer phone calls, collect basic job information, help with scheduling, and send text messages such as appointment confirmations and service reminders.
Calls may be recorded. Callers are informed at the start of each call and may opt out by asking not to be recorded or by ending the call and contacting us another way.
If you provide your phone number, you may receive text messages from HandyMack about appointments, service reminders, and occasional promotions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.
10. Workmanship and Product Limits
The Done-Right Promise: if something we installed or repaired fails because of how we did the work, we come back and make it right at no charge for 90 days from the service date. Parts, materials, devices, fixtures, and appliances are covered by their manufacturer warranties, not by HandyMack. We are not responsible for failures caused by defective products, pre-existing conditions, customer-supplied materials, misuse, normal wear, weather, internet outages, software changes, manufacturer updates, or work performed by someone else.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Arizona law, HandyMack is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability for any claim related to a service visit is limited to the amount you paid HandyMack for the specific service that caused the claim.
This limit does not apply where Arizona law does not allow it.
12. Dispute Resolution and Arizona Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, any claim must be brought in a state or federal court located in Arizona, unless the parties agree in writing to another method such as mediation.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
